Solar energy on the verge of a major expansion in Russia

Just before the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow, Russian President Vladimir Putin pledged that the country will reach carbon neutrality by 2060. A new program to support renewables has been implemented in September. This program is especially focussing on solar power.

The Russian Energy Forum is an annual congress and exhibition event for professionals in the country’s fuel and energy sector, which is coupled to the exhibition “Energy of the Urals”.
