The year 2021 will end with a record of around 350,000 new passenger car registrations for pure electric vehicles in Germany. This is an increase of 80% compared to 2020. Market leader is Volkswagen. Electricity would already be cheaper today with a Full Supply of 100% Renewables
By 2025 at the latest, an energy system based on 100% renewables in Germany would be significantly cheaper than power generation with fossil fuels, finds a recently published study by the Energy Watch Group.
